I think this website is pretty cool... It encourages people to think of 3 local businesses that they like, then try to spend $50 a month there. This keeps money in the local economy and helps small businesses stay afloat.

I really like this idea of spending local.
ReplyDeleteThe first three local businesses that popped into my head were Marco's, Annie Bloom's Books, and New Seasons. I wonder if New Seasons completely counts for this because they are a small chain?
I think for me New Seasons does because they exemplify how to successfully build a triple bottom line business with a strong connection to the community.
